زمینه و هدف: الگوی توانمندسازی خانواده محور یکی از الگوهای مطرح در زمینه توانمندسازی بیماران در جهت اصلاح رفتارهای پرخطر است. با توجه به گسترده بودن عوارض بهداشتی و اقتصادی ناشی از شیوع بیماری تب مالت در جامعه، بر آن شدیم تأثیر این الگو را در اصلاح رفتارهای پرخطر بیماران مبتلا به تب مالت مورد ارزیابی قرار دهیم.

روش بررسی: در این مطالعه مداخله ای نیمه تجربی که در سال 1392 بر روی 76 نفر از بیماران مبتلا به تب مالت به صورت تصادفی سازی طبقه ای در شهرستان چالدران اجرا شد. داده ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه پژوهشگر ‌ساخته در پنج سازه دانش، نگرش، خودکارآمدی، عزت نفس و رفتار، طی دو مرحله (ابتدای مطالعه- 2 ماه بعد از مداخله) گردآوری گردید. جهت تحلیل داده ها از شاخص های آمار توصیفی و آزمون های تی زوجی و مستقل در سطح معنی داری 05/0، استفاده شد.

یافته ها: میانگین سن بیماران 7/14± 9/37 بود. در گروه مداخله، میانگین نمرات دانش (001/0P<)، نگرش (001/0P<)، خودکارآمدی (001/0P<)، عزت نفس (001/0P<) و رفتار (001/0P<) به طور معنی داری افزایش یافته است اما تغییرات ایجاد شده در نمرات دانش (293/0=P)، نگرش (106/0=P)، خودکارآمدی (225/0=P)، عزت نفس (105/0=P) و رفتار (303/0=P) در گروه کنترل معنی دار نبود. میانگین نمرات تمام سازه ها در گروه مداخله در مقایسه با گروه کنترل پس از مداخله به طور معنی داری افزایش یافته بود (05/0>p).

نتیجه گیری: برنامه های مداخلاتی منظم و استفاده از تئوری های آموزشی به عنوان یک روش اثربخش در اصلاح رفتارهای پرخطر در بیماران مبتلا به تب مالت می باشد، لذا چنین برنامه هایی باید در سطح وسیعی اجرا گردد.
